This is perhaps another example that laptop is becoming very popular and it is becoming mainstream product for computer users. The holiday season is also coming and black Friday is also coming. So, Acer has brought out four models for different users. Aspire 8930-6448 is run on Intel Centrino 2 technology. There is Intel core 2 duo T9400 (6MB L2 Cache | 2.53 GHz | 1066MHz FSB) CPU, 18.4-inch WUXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD (1920 x 1080) display, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 9700 with 512 MB video memory, 320 GB hard drive, 6-in-1 digital media card reader, webcam etc. The operating system is windows vista and the price is $1699.99. I am afraid the laptop doesn’t offer Blu-Ray drive for option.
Next is Aspire 6930-6809. Its price tag is $700 and it has also Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5800 (2MB L2 Cache | 2.0GHz | 800MHz FSB), 3 GB RAM, 320 GB (5400RPM) hard disk.
The display is 16-inch WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD (1366 x 768) .It features Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, webcam and runs Windows Vista home premium edition.
Aspire 5735-4624 is a good budget laptop too and it is priced at $550. It sports Intel Pentium Dual-Core Mobile Processor T3200, 2 GB RAM and 160 GB hard drive. The display is 15.6 inch. It also has four USB ports.
Aspire 4730-4374 will run on Windows Vista and its price is $550. Its hard drive is 120 GB and ram is 2 GB. The display is 14.1 inches. Amazingly, this budget laptop supports 802.11n Wi-Fi too plus 802.11b/g. However, the 2 - USB 2.0 Ports makes me disappointed.
