Asus has launched its latest Eee PC netbook- Eee PC 1000HE; at ZipZoomFly only for $390 just few days later after launching the rival netbook- Acer Aspire One AOD 150. Of course the people who have pre-ordered at Amazon or JR, they have to wait yet for their stuff.
ASUS Eee PC 1000HE is the nice revamped version of Eee PC 1000H. It comes with faster CPU and FSB and much better keyboard for long touch-typing.
The netbook for purchase comes equipped with 10-in display, 1.66 GHz Atom N280 CPU, 1GB (DDR2-667) of RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Windows XP Home OS and 6-cell battery. It is available now only in black color.

I love the sleek black design of this netbook. It is sheer chic.
Due to this video, upgrading Ram of Eee 1000 HE is quite easy. You will just need to remove two screws and cover. Now you can easily change the RAM with higher capacity. It is clear that no damage can happen while upgrading the RAM.
In the video, the touchpad buttons are not enough flexible and are quite stiff. And I felt the netbook was some noisy while watching the video. Also the mouse buttons make a lot of click sound. But the keyboard is better than the one on Eee 1000H.
