The Nvidia bug has touched some of Apples MacBook Pro laptops too, after the suffering came to some of Dell and HP laptop users. Apple today posted a support document and assured that the users who have gone through the following symptoms or will face them within two years of the original date of purchase or if their Mac Pros have failed can get the free service and Apple will repair their laptops freely even if they are out of warranty.

Here are the symptoms:

- Distorted or scrambled video on the computer screen

-No video on the computer screen (or external display) even though the computer is on

If you have bought one of the following Mac Pros that have been manufactured within

May 2007 and September 2008 can be affected:

-MacBook Pro 15-inch and 17-inch models with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processors

-MacBook Pro (17-Inch, 2.4GHz)

-MacBook Pro (15-Inch, 2.4/2.2GHz)

he good thing is if you have already repaired your laptop for this issue and you have paid for, Apple will refund your money.
