Toshiba has announced its new 12.1-in ultra portable Portégé A600 laptop at the 3.2 pounds and 1.18-inches thin.
The system incorporates Toshiba's fourth-generation EasyGuard Technology with PC Health Monitor, Intel Centrino 2 processor technology and an integrated optical drive and delivering up to 7.5 hours of battery life. Prices for this laptop line up start at $1,399 (MSRP).
Other highlight features of Portégé A600 include:

-802.11a/g/ draft n wireless, onboard Bluetooth 2.1+EDR,
- An integrated Webcam and microphone
- EasyGuard continuously checks the performance and functionality of a laptop’s critical hardware components and will alert users when the system is in need of a tune up
- PC Health Monitor tracks the status of critical components, such as hard drive status, battery life and CPU temperature and system cooling warnings
