Fujitsu AMILO Sa 3650 Laptop is another 13.3-in ultra portable laptop that is coming to the store shelves anytime this month. Price is not clear but I think it should not be more expensive than 13.3-in MSI EX300 laptop, for it is based on AMD. However, the laptop comes with an external GraphicBooster box which is supposed to boost the performance of the built-in graphics of laptop about 470%.
Fujitsu AMILO Sa 3650 Laptop is a full-featured entertainment laptop that is powered by AMD next-generation dual-core mobile processor technology, up to 4GB of RAM, a 250GB/or 320GB hard drive, and Integrated SATA SuperMulti-format DVD burner (with double layer support).
The laptop utilizes a 13.3-inch WXGA display with BilliantView technology and ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card (which is lower than the one you can find in EX300).
The impressive features of AMILO Sa 3650 Laptop include:
- ATI Radeon HD 3200 on-board graphics
- Integrated draft-n WLAN, integrated Bluetooth 2.0
- Up to 4.5 hours of battery life
- DVI-I, eSATA and FireWire port and S/PDIF and 1x external graphic box port
- ExpressCard,
- Spill-proof keyboard,
- The external GraphicBooster box will boost the performance of the built-in graphics of laptop about 470%.
Unfortunately, the GraphicBooster will only works with the Sa 3650, right now and maybe later it will be used for other laptops Unlike EX300 laptop, the AMILO Sa 3650 uses DVI-I instead of HDMI.
Compared to EX300, Amilio Sa 3650 comes with better ports and slots like having an express card and FireWire port extra. The Fujitsu laptop diesn’t sport a finger print reader like MSI Ex300, but its keyboard is spill proof.
Amilio Sa 3650 weighs about 2.4 kg and runs on Vista Home Basic or Vista Home Premium.
