HP Pavilion dv2 Low Cost Laptop Gets $50 Price Cut

HP Pavilion dv2 ultra thin laptop is the first one in the category of low cost laptops which are new category that the laptops there are powered by AMD Neo or Intel CULV processors (like MSI X340 ultra slim laptop).

AMD Athlon Neo processor is more powerful and pricier than the Atom CPU used in netbooks and less powerful and cheaper than the Intel ULV Core 2 Duo and SU processors used in expensive Ultra portable laptops made for corporate users like ThinkPad X200s.

HP Pavilion dv2 is available in American markets with the starting price of sub-$700. Fortunately this low cost laptop is getting $50 price cut in some online retailers such as Staples and Amazon.

At Amazone the laptop was priced at $750 that now after $50 rebate is pricing at $700.
