Dell is going to launch two smartphones, using the Google Android and Microsoft Windows Mobile platforms. The new phones are named ‘MePhone’. Though the specifications of the expected phones are not yet available, it has been reported that the two smartphones from Dell will go head to head with Apple’s iPhone and Research In Motion’s Blackberry in the market.
One phone will have Google’s Android as its platform, while another one will run on as its Microsoft Windows Mobile. Dell is expected to launch the two smartphones at the Mobile World Conference in February this year. One phone will feature touchscreen, while another phone will come with slide-out keyboard. So, nothing details about the new phones are available now, but it is for sure that Dell’s smartphones can put some challenge for iPhone and Blackberry who are already leading the market.
