MSI X400 is another member of the X next ultra-slim notebook series that seeks to maintain the unique feature of this line - it is the thinnest and lightest in its category, although it comes with more than 14 inches of screen.
X400 is as thin as less than 1inch and 3.3 pounds lighter.
This low-cost laptop offers more color options than their other family members and is more colorful, thanks to "custom" color that decorate the edges of the frame and touchpad.
According to recent data published by MSI, the laptop is powered by the Inte CULVER processor, 2 GB to 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive to 500GB for the higher model, external DVD burner and the choice of Blu-ray while integrated GMA 4500 graphics card and 1.3MP webcam. 
As for I / O and network connectivity, we just know that the laptop features and HDMI Wireless-N.
By default, the laptop is equipped with a 4 cell battery with up to 4 hours of run time and there is an option for an 8-cell battery with up to 9 hours battery life.
