Samsung X360 First Impression: Challenging Air; Thinner and Lighter than Envy 133 and ThinkPad X300

Bookmark and Share

Samsung X360 is a new Ultra portable laptop hitting the market in September onwards. The market of Ultra portable laptops has seen tremendous demand since Apple’s MacBook Air caught the attention of people. MacBook Air redefined the concept of ultra portable laptops and improved the taste of consumers. Following MacBook Air, other famous vendors tried to use the new technology to make very thin and lig

htweight ultra laptops with artistic designs. HP’s Voodoo Envy 133 and Lenovo’s ThinkPad X200 and ThinkPad X300 and today’s Samsung X360 ultra laptops have tried to challenge MacBook Air with their lightweight, thinness, better features and fabulous modern designs. Already I have compared MacBook Air with Envy 133, 12-inch ThinkPad X200, ThinkPad X300 and Toshiba Portege R500 that you can read them in the following entries: -Lenovo Launches ThinkPad X200- A Serious Rival for MacBook Air With 0.8-in thickness -ThinkPad X300 Gets Review, Benchmark and Comparison with MacBook Air -HP’s Voodoo Envy 133 vs. MacBook Air vs. ThinkPad X300; First Review and Video -Which one is Thinnest: Toshiba Portege R500 or MacBook Air?

Samsung X360 ultra portable laptop is based on Centrino 2 like ThinkPad X200 and sports a 13-inches bright glossy LED-backlit display (1280 x 800) as well as a Centrino 2 ULV processor.

Following Macbook Air and Voodoo Envy 133 laptops, Samsung X360 doesn’t provide any built-in Optical drive either, but TinkPad X300 come with built-in optical drives

Samsung X360 is powered by 1GB of RAM up o 4GB, a 64GB or 128GB SSD or option for a 5400RPM 120GB HDD and an integrated Intel’s X4500 graphics card.

The Samsung X360 features 3 USB ports, HDMI, VGA, and a docking port 7-in-1 card reader, PCI ExpressCard/34, Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 1.3 megapixel camera and a long battery life from 6 to 10 hours.

Samsung X360 weighs in at 2.8 pounds (1.27Kg) and measures 0.66- 1.2 inches thick. X360 is not only lighter than Mac Air (3 lbs), but it is lighter than 12-in ThinkPad X200 (2.95 lbs), 13-in ThinkPad X300 (2.9 lbs) and Voodoo Envy 133 (3.37 lbs).

Regarding thinness, X360 can not compete with MacBook Air (0.16 to 0.76-inches thickness) but X360 is thinner than other rivals including Envy 133 laptop (0.70-inches), and ThinkPad X300 (0.73-inches thickness) and ThinkPad X200 (0.80-inches thickness).

The X360 will be priced at about £1200.

Engadget could have hands-on Samsung X360. According to them:

- Samsung X360 has a build somewhere in-between the plastic-ish Voodoo Envy 133 and the rock-solid ThinkPad X300

- The design is special and attractive with the brushed metal finish on the back

- Keyboard looks cheaper than the design, not as crisp as an Apple keyboard but comfortable

- The LED Backlight Display is bright but not too glossy

- There are enough ports and slots which you can not find them on MacBook Air

- The next-gen 128GB SSD offers for his laptop decrease he boot time a 25-50 percent

- Samsung X360 is thicker than MacBook Air, but 3 ounces lighter than Air (weight of 1.36Kg)

With the features that Samsung X360 sports it can easily challenge its serious rivals mentioned above, especially MacBook Air. However, about the matter of thickness MacBook Air has saved its crown, yet.

The Real Dell Inspiron mini or Dell Inspiron 910 Looks More Ugly than thought

Few days ago the full specs of Dell Inspiron 910 or Inspiron mini leaked and now we are sure that Dell Inspiron mini is not the same Dell E mini laptop . So far, these two laptops have been mixed up. Hopefully, we will see Dell Inspiron mini in the market soon but there is a long way yet to know more about Dell e-mini laptop.

One Engadget’s pal Mr. Blurrycam could have his hands on Dell Inspiron mini or Dell Inspiron 910 running Ubuntu. According to the pictures published by Engadget, you can immediately compare the real pictures with the initial pictures leaked early.

In early pictures you could see a very sexy laptop with beautiful interior and exterior design but, the real pictures published today showed that Dell Inspiron 910 is not as handsome as the way was thought first. Especially, the keyboard looks ordinary.

I myself prefer the design of Aspire one much more than the design of Dell Inspiron 910. What is your opinion? Do you agree with me?

The Inspiron 910 features a 8.9in WSVGA display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, a 1.6GHz single core Intel Atom CPU with 533MHz FSB, up to 1GB of DDR2 800Mhz RAM, 4GB, 8GB or 16GB SSD (Solid State Drive), mini card support for Bluetooth, WLAN, WWAN for option, 10/100 Ethernet, optional external USB modem, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, three USB ports, and a 3-in-1 card reader.

It weighs about 2.20 lbs and runs on either Ubuntu Linux 8.04 or Windows XP.

The price will start from $299.

Intel Convertible Classmate PC Tablet Showcased at IDF 2008; See a Video

Intel Classmate PC is not the Classmate PC 3.0! But it will be considered as the next-gen or new model of Classmate PCs by Intel. Well, it is reasonable if Intel Tablet Classmate PC is considered as the rival of Gigabyte M912V tablet because, both are low-cost and come with the similar specs.

Convertible Classmate PC will be available along Classmate PC 2.0 in the market. It will sport Atom N270 processor of 1.6 GHz LCD screen, 8.9 "touch screen display with 1,204 x 600 pixels resolution, flash memory and disk options, 2USB ports, Video out put, SD slot, Ethernet LAN, Mic and headphone jacks.

There are two interesting features mentioned by the source:

- A white button sitting next to screen to rotate the image on the screen.

- The webcam can rotate forward to capture images better.

In the following you can see a video released by Intel and get more acquainted with this upcoming mini Tablet.

At a glance, I can mention three differences between Gigabyte M912V tablet and Convertible Classmate PC. First of all Gigabyte M912V targets adult users mainly, but Intel Classmate are only focused on Students. For this reason, you can find Gigabyte M912V with different designs to attract different types of users but Classmate PC carries a design suitable for students.

Also, the important difference comes in the matter of their Touch screen displays. In fact, Gigabyte M912V as I motioned in my previous entry doesn’t have a very responsive and sensitive screen. However, it will be enough for adult users (especially the adults will use the stylus) but the matter of a Tablet device for children looks more complicated. For writing, children have to put their palm first and then write down but, this style creates problems for touch screen displays. On standard touch screen displays you have to lift your hand up and then write down which sounds very uncomfortable. In this case, Intel has solved this problem and made it totally ok for its Tablet Classmate PC. So, children can easily lay down their hands on the screen and write down as like they usually do with their notebooks.

Additionally, Classmate PC laptops are rugged and durable.

Surely, in coming days we will know more about Convertible Classmate PC. Please, keep in touch for further information.

Addressing at the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2008 in Malaysia on May 19, 2008, Intel Corporation Chairman Craig Barrett announced that Intel has signed an agreement with Grameen Trust to form a new business venture dedicated to social and economic development. The Grameen-Intel joint venture aims to bring about self-sustaining solutions based on ICT to help empower the worlds impoverished citizens. The initiative, which will be launched in Bangladesh, is based on the social business model created by Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who founded Grameen Bank in 1976 to promote microfinancing and community development.

“Technology offers the means for scaling up our efforts toward global change and progress,” said Barrett, who also chairs the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UN GAID). “By creating new business models based on ICT, as Intel is doing today with Grameen, we can bring people the tools they need to improve their future.”

“I am very happy to collaborate with Intel in this new direction and create opportunities for poor people to rise above social and economic barriers,” said Yunus, also author of the best-selling book, Creating a World Without Poverty. “I believe technology-based services will provide the hand up that people need to discover their full potential. Once we show that this business model works in Bangladesh, we hope the successes we achieve there can be applied to the rest of the developing world.”

Grameen-Intel combines Intels technology innovation and Grameens extensive experience in creating economic development and income-generation opportunities at the village level. The new company will use a private sector-based approach to address social and economic problems such as poverty, healthcare and education in developing countries.

If you are a very busy guy then what will be the most feasible solution for you to handle your financial activities. Do doubt you prefer hassle free e-payment. Yes, e-payment becomes a common phenomenon at the present time although Bangladesh until recently not able to align itself with this financial solution of information technology (IT).

Actually e-payment is a kind of Internet based financial service that allows people to pay their bill without rush to a particular place such as bank or other bill receiving outlets. Widespread availability of Internet connectivity spurs the growth of electronic payment.

As the name implies, electronic payment is a virtual payment scheme that does not involve traditional paper cheque. There are several methods of electronic payment namely credit cards, debit cards and the ACH (Automated Clearing House) network. The ACH system comprises direct deposit, direct debit and electronic cheques (e-cheques). Electronic payment encompasses different mode of electronic transactions and all these are consecutively discussed in this article.

Suppose you have decided to purchase a book from Amazon.com. So your first step will be to identify the particular book and then find out the online payment option. Naturally, you click on the shopping cart icon and then type your credit card information. After that you allow the site to check the inserted info and then an email notification let you know that your payment was received.

Nowadays some websites have the facility of e-cheque. Unlike credit card e-cheque allows you to provide account number and banks routing number. The vendor authorizes payment through the customers bank, which then either initiates an electronic fund transfer (EFT) or prints a cheque and mails it to the vendor.

Another type of electronic payment includes customer to vendor payment. This scheme allows people to pay a bill from the bank account or automatic charge to credit card. In many countries this type of payment offered by car insurance companies, phone companies and loan management companies. Some long-term contracts (like those at gyms or fitness centres) require this type of automated payment schedule.

Many banks in the developed countries offer online bill pay and that basically include bank-to-vendor payment. In this regard, people need to visit particular banks website where they enter the vendors information and authorize the bank to electronically transfer money from the account to pay bill.

Electronic payment leverages financial activities. The main advantage of e-payment is it gives you mobility and saves your time. To involve with this process you need to enter your account information such as your credit card number and shipping address. The information is then stored in a database on the retailers web server. When you come back to the website, you just log in with your username and password. Completing a transaction is as simple as clicking your mouse: All you have to do is confirm your purchase and youre done.

Electronic payment also downsizes the operations cost of the businesses. The more payments they can process electronically, the less they spend on paper and postage. Offering electronic payment can also help businesses improve customer retention. A customer is more likely to return to the same e-commerce site where his or her information has already been entered and stored.

In order to consider the positive impact of e-payment more banks in the developed countries gradually offer e-payment services. A study conducted by Grant Thornton says 65 percent of community banks and 94 percent of large banks in USA offer 24/7 online bill payment. Most of these services are free to members and coordinate easily with personal software programs such as Quicken or MS Money. Alternatively, consumers can subscribe to online bill pay services such as Paytrust or Yahoo! Bill Pay. These services charge a monthly fee in exchange for the convenience of paperless bill paying.

The main concern regarding e-payment is the security issue. Many people believe their personal information is prone to intruders. In order to resolve this problem many security solutions are currently available in the market.

For instance, you can create a protective shield against identity theft by using virus protection software and a firewall on your computer. You should also make sure that you send your credit card information over a secure server. Your Internet browser will notify you when a server is secure by showing a lock or key icon. In addition, the URL on a secure site is usually designated by the prefix “https” instead of “http.” Retailers do their part by using data encryption, which codes your information in such a way that only the key holder can decode it.

Still now globally many people have the mindset to use the traditional financial services. Among them some people do not conversant with basic computing so that they allows reluctant to use online platform for transaction.

If your planning to launch a small website based business so what will be the next steps. The first thing you need to decide is that whether you outsource the payment solution or process it by your own arrangements. If you think about outsource service then PayPal and ProPay will the best choices for you.

These services make it easy for you to accept credit cards and other forms of electronic payment from your site. When a customer enters his or her information on your site, your payment service authorizes the transaction and transfers funds to your account. These services charge a processing fee per transaction.

If you choose the self-processing then the first thing you need to do is set up a secure server. This is a computer that uses encryption to make it difficult for intruders to intercept confidential information. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is used to encrypt the data. You can apply for an SSL certificate online.

Once you have an SSL certificate, you need to register your site with a digital authentication service. A digital certificate validates that the site receiving your customers information is the correct one. It assures customers that your site is legitimate and that their information is encrypted.

Then you need to develop or purchase shopping software that allows a customer to choose products from your site and add them to a virtual shopping cart. When customers are ready to complete their orders, they click on a “checkout” link that takes them to your secure server, where they enter their credit card information.

You also need a credit card information processing system to process credit card payments and an Internet merchant account with a bank. Credit card payment processing services are available through online companies such as Verisign. They provide you with software that validates your customers credit card information over your secure server.

ITU announces first global set of standards for IPTV Specifications will fuel market for next-generation services

Bookmark and Share

The International Telecommunication Union announced the first set of global standards for Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) today. The standards were built with technical contributions from leading service providers and manufacturers from the information and communication technology (ICT) sector and cement ITU’s role as the global leader in IPTV standards development.

IPTV is one of the most highly visible services to emerge as part of the development of next-generation networks (NGN). Indeed, it is seen as both the business case and principal driver for accelerating deployment of NGN.

The new standards were developed by the Focus Group on IPTV (FG IPTV) in ITU’s Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T).

Malcolm Johnson, Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Standardization Bureau said, "Standards are crucial for IPTV to reach its market potential and global audience. They are necessary in order to give service providers — whether traditional broadcasters, ISPs, cable operators or telecoms service providers — control over their platforms and their offerings. Standards here will encourage innovation, help mask the complexity of services, guarantee quality of service, ensure interoperability and, ultimately, help players remain competitive."

This announcement follows the seventh and final meeting of FG IPTV hosted in Malta by the Maltese Ministry for Competitiveness and Communications. Censu Galea, Minister for Competitiveness and Communications said, "The stage of work that sees completion this week lays the groundwork for an area of ICT that some predict could attract up to 100 million subscribers in the next three years. It’s easy to see why so many of the world’s key ICT companies have been keen to progress this work in ITU. Malta is proud to host this event and play a part in advancing this important technology."

Contained within the documents produced by the Focus Group are the high-level architecture and frameworks needed by service providers in order to rollout IPTV services. ITU’s next phase of IPTV work — IPTV-GSI (global standards initiative) — will centre on the speedy preparation of standards based on documents produced by FG IPTV as well as on the detailed protocols required.

The 2006-2007 period has seen numerous physical and electronic meetings and workshops progressing work on IPTV around the world. Twenty-one documents covering IPTV requirements, architecture, quality of service (QoS), security, digital rights management (DRM), unicast and multicast, protocols, metadata, middleware and home networks will be submitted to the ITU-T Study Group charged with progressing and distributing the work. The IPTV-GSI will build on the momentum generated over the past 20 months, and it is foreseen that contributions and participation will continue to increase.

Operators consider IPTV a key element of a triple-play package of voice, video and data services. Standardization is imperative if service providers are to offer high quality products with value-additions, such as video-on-demand services that will inevitably drive the market. A combination of voice, Internet and video services over a single broadband link and from a single provider is foreseen as the ultimate goal of the broadband revolution.

FG IPTV benefited from collaboration with all ITU-T Study Groups and other forums and regional standards bodies, including ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF), DSL Forum, the DVB project, ETSI TISPAN and the Home Gateway Initiative (HGI).

The first meeting of IPTV-GSI will convene in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 15 to 22 January 2008.

Intel Opens First High-Volume 45nm Microprocessor Manufacturing Factory New $3 Billion Facility to Produce Processors with Intel 45nm Hafnium-based Hi

Bookmark and Share

Production of a new generation of microprocessors for PCs, laptops, servers and other computing devices officially began today inside of Intel Corporation's first high-volume 45 nanometer (nm) manufacturing factory in Chandler, Ariz.

Called "Fab 32," the $3 billion factory will use Intel's innovative 45nm process technology based on Intel's breakthrough in "reinventing" certain areas of the transistors inside its processors to reduce energy leakage. The 45nm transistors use a Hafnium-based high-k material for the gate dielectric and metal materials for the gate, and are so small that more than 2 million can fit on the period at the end of this sentence. Millions of these tiny transistors will make up Intel's faster, more energy efficient lead- and halogen-free processors for PCs, laptops and servers, as well as ultra low-power processors for mobile Internet and consumer electronic devices, and low-cost PCs. The first of the company's 45nm processors is scheduled to be introduced on Nov. 12.

"The opening of Fab 32 in Arizona today is a testament to Intel's continued investment in our most strategic asset -- the most advanced,
environmentally friendly manufacturing network in the world," said Paul Otellini, Intel president and CEO. "The magic of 45nm and our new transistor design allow us to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient
processors to our customers across the entire spectrum of market segments, from the most powerful servers to a variety of mobile devices and everything in between."

Fab 32 is Intel's sixth 300mm wafer factory and its second factory to produce 45nm chips. Intel first produced 45nm processors in its Oregon development facility, called D1D, in January and is now moving into high-volume production with the opening of Fab 32. Two additional 45nm, 300mm manufacturing factories are scheduled to open next year in Kiryat Gat, Israel (Fab 28) and Rio Rancho, N.M. (Fab 11x). Using 300mm wafers lowers the production cost per chip while diminishing overall use of resources.

With 184,000 square feet of clean room space, the completed Fab 32 structure measures 1 million square feet, so large that more than 17 U.S. football fields could fit inside the building. More than 1,000 employees will operate the factory in such positions as process, automation and yield engineers and senior manufacturing technicians.

A Focus on the Environment – From the Factory Down to the Transistor
Fab 32 will be among Intel's most environmentally friendly factories, incorporating a number of energy and water conservation measures that have come to characterize Intel's long track record of environmental stewardship in its
operations.

Intel's industry-leading 45nm process results in a 15 percent reduction in global warming emissions, and Fab 32 makes use of Intel Arizona's innovative water conservation and reuse program which conserves more than 70 percent of the water.

The company also announced that it intends to seek certification for the new fab as the company's first official Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) factory based on new criteria being developed for facilities of this kind. LEED is a green building rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council that provides a set of standards for environmentally sustainable construction and requires several months of operating data before certification can be completed. The certification would demonstrate that Fab 32 meets the highest environmental standards and reflects Intel's history of commitment to environmental leadership.

The four-year contract will cover the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2012 London Summer Games, said Chris Renner of Helios Partners, who helped arrange the deal. The agreement builds on President Gianfranco Lanci's ambitions to challenge Hewlett-Packard Co. and Dell Inc. following Acer's $710 million acquisition of Gateway Inc. this year. China's Lenovo said this week it will drop its sponsorship to target specific markets, highlighting the contrast in strategies between Asia's two biggest computer makers.
Acer would become one of 11 companies with the worldwide right to associate themselves with the Olympics and use symbols such as the five rings. Acer, which research firm IDC estimates lags behind Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Lenovo in PC sales, is poised to be the first Taiwanese company to become a worldwide sponsor of the Olympics
Acer's Lanci said in October he expects the purchase of Gateway will more than double Acer's market share in the U.S. to 11.7 percent. The acquisition makes Acer the second-largest PC supplier in Europe and at least the third-biggest in the U.S., according to data from researcher Gartner Inc. and Acer.
Acer, founded in 1976, has invested in Formula 1 motor car racing as official sponsor for the Ferrari F1 team, Moto GP as the official sponsor of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team, and it is currently an official supplier to Spanish football giants Barcelona.
"The careful choice of associating our company with established world leaders in their respective sectors has helped grow the brand perception of Acer around the world," said J T Wang, chief executive of Acer, in a call from Taiwan.
"We are convinced it is the right thing to do and the best business marketing investment we can make for Acer."

World of Nanotechnology: Science fiction or reality?

The basic definition of nanotechnology is anything related to the building of materials on a nanometer scale-a scale smaller than one millionth of a meter, that evolved over the years via terminology drift to mean
"anything smaller than micro
technology" such as nano
powders, and other things that
are nanoscale in size, but not
referring to mechanisms that hav
e been purposefully built from
nanoscale components.

Nanotechnology represents the state of the art in advances in microbiology, biochemistry, physics, computer science and mathematics. The major research objectives in nanotechnology are the design, modeling, and fabrication of molecular machines and molecular devices. At the end it is not the meaning behind the terms that is important, it is the fact that all the many definitions suggest that we have been and are on a rapidly accelerating technological rollercoaster, and rapid change is the track it rides. While there is great debate as to when nanotechnology will start to seriously impact us, best guesses range from around 2015 to as late as 2025.Certainly within the lifetime of most everyone currently under 60years of age. A key ingredient in understanding nanotechnology is realizing precisely what it is and what it isn't,I am talking about research and development in the length scale of 0.1nanometer to 100 nanometers to create unique structure devices and systems. In many instances the actual structures, device will be much larger, but they will be classified as nanotechnology due to the fact that they will either be created at the nanoscale or nanotechnology will enable them to perform improved functions.

Many materials once they are individually reduced below 100 nanometers, begin displaying a set of unique characteristics based on quantum mechanical forces that are exhibited at the level. The properties of those products depend on how those atoms are arranged. If we rearrange the atoms in coal we can make diamond. If we rearrange the atoms in sand we can make computer chips. If we rearrange the atoms in dirt, water and air we can make potatoes.
In the future, nanotechnology will let us take off the boxing gloves. We'll be able to snap together the fundamental building blocks of nature easily, inexpensively and in most of the ways permitted by the laws of physics. This will be essential if we are to continue the revolution in computer hardware beyond about the next decade, and will also let us tabulate an entire new generation of products that are cleaner, stronger, lighter and more precise.

The improvements in lithography have resulted in sub-micron lithography is clearly very valuable but it is equally clear that conventional lithography will not let us build semiconductor devices in which individual atoms are located at specific lattice sites. Many of the exponentially improving trends in computer hardware capability have remained steady for the last 50 years. There is fairly widespread belief that these trends are likely to continue for at least another several years, but then conventional lithography starts to reach its limits.
If we are to continue these trends we will have to develop a new manufacturing technology which will let us inexpensively build computer systems with mole quantities of logic elements that are molecular in both size and precision and are interconnected in complex and highly idiosyncratic patterns. Nanotechnology will let us do this.
One great example is how nanoparticles are being used to target anticancer drugs directly to cancer cells to kill them without harming nearby non-cancerous cells. This is a great way to reap the benefits of anticancer drugs without the unwanted side effects of drug toxicity. As advancements in nanotechnology continue, the resulting health benefits will also improve and give us more options for use in disease treatment.
Nanotechnology is an emerging and promising field of research, loosely defined as the study of functional structures with dimensions in the 1-1000 nanometer range. Certainly, many organic chemists have designed and fabricated such structures for decades via chemical synthesis. During the last decade, however, developments in the areas of microbiology, silicon fabrication, biochemistry, physical chemistry, and computational engineering have converged to provide remarkable capabilities for understanding, fabricating and manipulating structures at the atomic level.
Research in nanoscience is exploding, both because of the intellectual allure of constructing matter and molecules one atom at a time, and because the new technical capabilities permit creation of materials and devices with significant societal impact. The rapid evolution of this new science and the opportunities for its application promise that nanotechnology will become one of the dominant technologies of the 21st century.
"Wet" nanotechnology, which is the study of biological systems that exist primarily in a water environment. The functional nanometer-scale structures of interest here are genetic material, membranes, enzymes and other cellular components. The success of this nanotechnology is amply demonstrated by the existence of living organisms whose form, function, and evolution are governed by the interactions of nanometer-scale structures.
"Dry" nanotechnology, which derives from surface science and physical chemistry, focuses on fabrication of structures in carbon, silicon, and other inorganic materials. Unlike the "wet" technology, "dry" techniques admit use of metals and semiconductors. The active conduction electrons of these materials make them too reactive to operate in a "wet" environment, but these same electrons provide the physical properties that make "dry" nanostructures promising as electronic, magnetic, and optical devices. Another objective is to develop "dry" structures that possess some of the same attributes of the self-assembly that the wet ones exhibit. The predictive and analytical power of computation is critical to success in nanotechnology: nature required several hundred million years to evolve a functional "wet" nanotechnology; the insight provided by computation should allow us to reduce the development time of a working "dry" nanotechnology to a few decades, and it will have a major impact on the "wet" side as well.

Benefits become practical with nanotechnology:
sPollution control, treatment, and management
sControl of famine and starvation
sCost effective consumer products
sTechnology many times faster then today
sPreserved the right for the education of every one
sIntroduction of the Solar System
sSafe and affordable space travel
sPrevention of illness, aging, and even death.
