Economic recession is hurting everyone these days. It is hurting every country too. In the west, it has devastating impact on business and economy. Now, millions of people in USA are afraid about their future and they don’t know if they can have their jobs in tact for the whole of this year or not. So, this worry has its natural bad impact on the greatest tech show on USA and world- CES 2009. This year, there is fear that 10,000 less visitors may come in CES 2009 compared to one year ago. There are 10% less Exhibitors this time (2700 compared to 3000).
The only good news is that almost all the big names will be present in CES 2009. They are here with new products and I am happy to see that a number of new laptops will be displayed in the expo.
I am a bit worried about the global economy in 2009. It will be a challenging year for the tech companies. I cover about laptop. I don’t think that the laptop sales will be that much affected because most people now consider laptops as an essential device.
