Press Release:

Style, simplicity and sophistication: FinePix J250

February 17, 2009 - Fujifilm are proud to announce the latest addition to its range of highly desirable and accessible J-series compact cameras; the FinePix J250. Packed with features providing consumers with more choice, these are a welcome addition to the J series family.

This model is aimed at consumers who want a stylish camera that’s fun and easy to use, but won’t blow the budget. Every Fujifilm camera is guaranteed to give you stunning image quality - the essence of FinePix brand – and the new FinePix J250 is no exception. With a core specification of 10 Megapixels and a sharp, high-quality 28mm wide-angle Fujinon 5x zoom, the FinePix J250 will deliver breathtaking images at the press of a button. Its diminutive size means you can slip it in your pocket or bag and take it with you wherever you go.

Offering consumers exceptional value for money, the FinePix J250 features Fujifilm’s highly effective Dual Image Stabilisation technology – a first in J series cameras – which combines CCD shift technology with high ISO settings to achieve virtually blur free images. And there’s a large 3” LCD screen for easy viewing.

The FinePix J250 offers an impressive feature set, including Scene Recognition AUTO (SR AUTO) and Face Detection Technology with red-eye removal. SR AUTO makes it quick and easy to take great shots. All users have to do is frame the shot, and SR AUTO intelligently recognises the scene – Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait, Portrait and Backlit Portrait – and selects the ideal setting. Both cameras feature Face Detection technology with auto red-eye removal for perfect people pictures.

Further to this, the FinePix J250 contains a high-quality 28mm wide angle 5x Fujinon lens. The versatile zoom range of these cameras makes them ideal for a range of subjects, from family group shots and sweeping landscapes to dramatic close-ups and action shots.

It’s not just the price point that will amaze you, the looks will, too. Available in silver or black, the brushed metallic finish and diamond cut FinePix logo ooze luxury, and the metal lens ring gives a highly polished exterior. With its pocket-sized dimensions, stylish looks and impressive feature set, the FinePix J250 can be taken anywhere and everywhere and will look as good as the pictures it takes.
