Yesterday, I talked about Samsung NC20 which is the first netbook based on VIA Nano and compared it with Atom based Samsung NC10 and Eee 1000HE. Interesting is that Lenovo is going to release one of its IdeaPad Sxx netbooks with VIA Nano CPU too. Lenovo is also going to release two other IdeaPad Sxx netrbooks based on Nividia’s Ion Platform.
IdeaPad S10 is the first netbook from Lenovo that has achieved good response among the buyers since it was released. Although in prior news released three days ago, Ion platform was supposed to appear first in a nettop, it seems that Lenovo will be the first company who will use Ion Platform ( Atom CPU plus Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics processor) in its upcoming 11.6 inch and 12.1 ( and mayble a 13-inch) IdeaPad netbooks.
Additionaly Lenovo will be the second laptop make that is going to use Nano CPU in one of its 12 inch IdeaPad model too.
It turns out that Lenovo believes that Nano CPU and Ion platform both will get good response in the market. I think Lenovo thinks that by the means of the credit IdeaPad S10 brought and bright future of these two CPU and platform, it will be able increase its share of sales in market significantly.
